What format are your photos in?
All TRIALSPHOTOS.COM photos are in JPG format.

Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos after any event we attend. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos posted.

Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by TRIALSPHOTOS.COM. This may be considered as a future add-on

Do you offer refunds?
For file downloads we do not offer refunds. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. For digital prints, we will look at refunds on a case-by-case basis. See below.

What about prints?
We use high-end EPSON photo quality printers for printing with top of the range photographic paper and inks. You literally cannot tell these are prints and not photographs.

We offer prints in many different sizes in both matte and gloss finishes (we recommend gloss as they have a finer finish). Once you have ordered prints, we operate a very careful quality control process. We look at each file closely and check for any flaws. If we do not feel the quality of the photo(s) ordered will be high enough then we will advise you and offer a FULL refund. After photos are printed they are, again, carefully checked. If we spot any flaws then again, we will advise you and offer a FULL refund or (because they've already been printed and will just end up in the bin otherwise!) we will offer you the prints at a reduced cost.

All prints are shipped in cardboard photographic envelopes with the exception of A3 prints which are shipped in cardboard rolls.

What if I don't like my prints?
Due to the stringent quality control process we operate, we will only offer refunds if there is a material flaw in the image that has not been previously identified by us. However, due to our desire to attain 100% customer satisfaction, we're happy to talk to any customer who is not entirely statisfied with their prints from this site.

Are there any restrictions on my use of the TRIALSPHOTOS.COM photos that I download?
Yes. While TRIALSPHOTOS.COM offers great freedom of access to our archives, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of format. This includes any other website (even personal ones not for financial gain), magazines and newspapers. If you wish to use our photos commercially or on a personal website for non-financial gain, please contact us using the Support link above to discuss rates.

If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
Nope! An unlimited membership allows you full access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge.

The CD/DVD of photos I purchased won't read on my machine
Please make sure you ordered the correct format. DVDs will not read on a CD-ROM Drive. If you incorrectly ordered DVD and only have a CD-ROM drive then we will supply you with the CD-ROM equivalent at a reduced cost. In the case whereby you ordered the correct format, but you have problems reading it upon receipt then we will replace the disc free of charge within 30 days of purchase. We do not, under any circumstances, offer refunds on CD/DVD purchases.

Is account sharing allowed?
Absolutely not. Sharing an account is no different to distributing our materials to others. We receive daily reports on IP addresses and login details to ensure this does not take place. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.

I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos on TRIALSPHOTOS.COM using your details, please send a support request.

Can I pay by cheque?
We may, at our discretion, accept orders by cheque from UK-based users. Please contact us using the support link at the top of this page.

What does your photo site offer that Trials Central doesn't?

Firstly it offers the opportunity to gain photographic content from many events around the World that isn't available anywhere else at seriously high resolution. This content is available as you want it and when you want it - whether you want one photo, one event, one series of events or full access.

Secondly, it offers you the opportunity to gain that content in the knowledge that the bulk of what you are spending will be re-invested in the sport of Trials.

What does "high-resolution photos" actually mean?

When we take photos, we take them at the maximum resolution our cameras can handle. "Maximum Resolution" you can safely translate to "Maximum Quality". When we publish photos on Trials Central we greatly reduce quality and size (around 10x reduction) to ensure fast download times for dial-up users. The photos you see on Trials Central are nothing like the originals. TRIALSPHOTOS.COM gives you access to the photos at their original size and quality.

Have you got any samples?

Sure. We picked a couple of files at random from our collection as samples. These are big files so may take some time to download, but this is the quality of image you have access to. Note that your browser may auto-resize these images to fit your browser window. If this is the case then hover your mouse towards the bottom right of the image once downloaded and you should get an icon to expand it to full original size. Note that these samples carry a TRIALSPHOTOS.COM logo. That is because they are samples and to protect our copyright. Photos you download are originals and do not carry any logo.

Uh oh. Does this mean Trials Central is moving towards becoming a pay site?

There are currently NO plans to make Trials Central a pay site. The running costs for Trials Central are at present covered by those who kindly sponsor us.

TRIALSPHOTOS.COM is very much part of the Trials Central family, but is designed for those who a) want access to better quality photography than on Trials Central and b) wish to do so in the knowledge that the money they've spent getting that superior content is being re-invested in the sport.

I live in The USA/Canada/France/Finland (etc) - why should I contribute to Youth Trials in the UK?

That's not how it will work. Trials Central may be BASED in the UK, but that does not mean the UK is our only concern. We are an international website with readers from all over the globe. Our primary objective is to get some money in the kitty. Once we have sufficient funds there then we'll look to allocate that proportionately. e.g. If 40% of TRIALSPHOTOS.COM income comes from US-based subscribers then 40% of the profit will be re-invested in US-based Youth riders.

5) Your £50 a year unlimited access is mentioned as an introductory offer with full access to what you already have online plus every event you cover next year. That seems too cheap for so many events. Is there a catch?

No catches - providing you don't go crazy with the photo downloads. It's an introductory offer for early-adopters. It won't stay at £50 - I can guarantee that. As the new site gains popularity so will the bandwidth costs and prices will rise accordingly.
